Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. (1 Tim. 4:12)
The 'how it all started' story & the reason why
The first moment I felt 'moved'; after reading a book about a special little girl whose strenght moved me.
The books that inspired me are 'KanjerGuusje' & 'Marie'.
The one who compelled me to love abundantly is Jesus.
The application of the giant 'blessing of giving'
A purpose driven live - Love in action
I feel beyond blessed for the fact God chose me to fulfill this mission on earth.
It's so much more than a hobby, it even surpasses 'passion', I'm living my purpose. Experiencing the power of Love in action.
People often dont understand 'why' i do this, why at this age, simply 'why?'. At the age of 15 I began to understand the love of God, the value of the cross, the love we've been given so so freely. My heart was so full, I overflowed with the love of Christ. I simply had to share it, there was no way around. This love is in me to be shared, with many.
It took some time before I found out in what way exactly I could pour out this love of Christ on warriors and their family. Finally after 3 years, in may 2014 (at the age of 15) I discovered a way to express this love towards these families.
A dreamcatcher is a perfect gift for a child batteling cancer.
Asthese children have alot to endure in their young life, it probably includes traumatic events (receiving treatments, being ill, isolated,...) wich often results in nightmares.
This is the beautiful legend of a Dreamcatcher: the bad dreams are caught in the web, wherefor only the good deams are treasured in the center pearl. With their dreamcatcher above their hospital bed/ at home, they feel safe and protected against the bad dreams, they feel loved and not alone. Not because a thing called 'a dreamcatcher' works in these kind of marvelous, wonder-ful ways, but because of the love that has been put in this act of kindness, because of the prayers that arose to heaven when my hands created these pieces of love.
It is humbling to experience this 'two-direction-love-flow'. Their thanksgiving is graciously honest.
I've tasted and seen of the sweetest of love. All glory to God.
are you SUPERSTITIOUS?
- My faith in action
No, I'm not.
I don't believe in the dreamcatcher taking away the bad dreams.
I am whole-hearted Christian and I devote my life to serving God by serving one another in Love (Gal. 5:13).
When I am making a child's Dreamcatcher I always say a prayer for the specific child. I ask God to keep the child safe and to abundantly pour out His love and grace over him/her; providing them peace and strength to fight through their next day.
I do believe God can take the bad dreams away and He can do so much more! God loves the little children (Matthew 19:14). I want to share this truth with the children so they may feel the peace that comes along with this message (John 14:27).
That is exactly what makes my Dreamcatchers so very special. Every single one is blessed. Each one on its own carries around blessings for a specific child who is fighting cancer.
God works through me, that's why the love I have to give is inexhaustible.
How many children did you reach?
In a period of just two years I had been given the ability to reach over 1000 children with my dreamcatchers (- Love, Hope, Prayers & Support), worldwide, who are fighting cancer.
The prove Love knows no distance; the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, England, The Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Brazil, Belgium and many more have been reached.
Guided by the one who created both heaven and earth.
Count your Blessings and name them one by one
Every day I express my gratitude towards God in prayer. I give thanks for all the blessings I received, for the privilege of sharing His Love in such a magnificent way. All glory belongs to Him! Oh, how wonderful are His ways.
How do you cope with the children who, unfortunately, pass away?
'How can you handle this? Watching so much pain and suffering in your everyday life.'
'How do you cope with the loss of so many children? Especially at your age... You need to focus on yourself too...'
I use to answer: 'the joy these kids bring into my life is so much more than their death could ever take away.'
I will not ever deny it is difficult to see these precious children suffer but oh the joy I experience when seeing their face light up, the energy it gives me when witnessing their pure love and desire to live. I can't help but smile and be happy for the privilege to be given the chance to be part of their journey.
It makes me so happy to see these children light up when they receive my gift of love in all purity.
When I'm having a hard time coping with the harsh reality of losing so many children, I pray and find peace, knowing they are safe; 'healed and completely whole'. Jesus loves the little children, therefor I know those who have gone too soon are all dancing and playing around in heaven - healed and completely whole.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” - Matthew 19:14
LOVE so UNDENIABLE
